How often to change cat litter?

How often to change cat litter?

If you have more than one cat, it is best to clean the litter box every two to three weeks, every other day might be preferable. Using non-clumping litter and a single cat, you can keep going for two weeks. If a family has to share one litter box, using non-clumping litter every four weeks is optimal. If a family has several cats and dog in their house, keeping the litter box clean every other day may work best.
